Data Items can be referred to by common language names (e.g. plain English, common industry jargon, etc.), then organized into meaningful groups and named with other names that are meaningful (Customer Name instead of c.name; Invoice Number, instead of Invno, etc.)
Data items can be arranged in customer series, grouped, and filtered on the user-intended names so the data item list can be searched and the desired items easily found.
Relationships between tables are pre-defined by techies who know how to spec them. All you do is point and click to choose the items you want included and specify the order you want them presented in. From then on, Foxfire! hunts down all the data needed to fulfill your request and present them the way you want to see them.
